The DMV Connect will be at the American Legion at 400 N Oak St, Falls Church, VA 22046, Monday, September 12 - Friday, September 16 from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm, and they will close for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30. By appointment only. Walk-ins will possibly be considered.
You may renew vehicle registrations (if you have the emissions test done or have 1 year left), replace a title (it will be mailed to you), get a new title for a new to you vehicle, renew a Driver’s License and/or get the Real ID Driver’s License (it will be effective on 5-3-2023 for traveling on domestic flights, going into Federal Buildings and onto military bases, using this license alone with a star in the corner, or you will need to bring 2 forms of ID to do those things, like a regular license and a current US Passport).
You may renew a license up to a year in advance of it expiring, you can upgrade to a Real ID at any time ($10 Real ID fee and $20 license reissue fee) but you get a new picture!, replace a lost driver’s license, do an address change for your driver’s license and vehicle registrations, turn in license plates for a refund if 6 months or more are remaining on the plates, or just for recycling if they are expired, and get a sold date for car tax and insurance purposes, etc.

A check-in person is located at the front of the room to make sure that you have an appointment, enter you in the system if not, and check that you have the proper documents and DMV forms needed to complete your transaction. Health questions are asked. A face mask is required. The chairs are socially distanced, as customers wait for an opening at the teller stations. Each teller station has a plastic shield in front of every customer. Counters and machines are wiped down after each transaction.

Customers should wait in their car until 5-10 minutes before their appointment.
