SUMMARY:Buddhist Teachings - Mindfuleness & Meditation Practices
DESCRIPTION:Mindfulness Practices and Teachings to Support a Joyful Holiday Season\n\n\n\nWhile marketed as a time of generosity and joy\, the truth is that many of us find the holiday season to be filled with anxiety\, stress\, and frustration. Whether getting caught up in the commercialization and unending consumption which characterizes our modern holidays\, or being swept away by our past conditioning around family\, relationships and more\, this time of year can be especially difficult for our mental well-being. Because of this\, it is important that we all take some time out to stop\, refresh\, and touch the natural joy and ease available to each of us when we let go of the drama and touch this present moment deeply.\n\n\n\nPlease join us on the evening of December 28th as we practice stopping in order to come back to the simplicity of this moment together. There will be a guided meditation to help us nourish our capacity to be present and some teachings and discussion to help us learn how to take care of the emotions that arise this time of year. \n\n\n\nBryan is kindly donating his time to our community at Dancing Mind. A $10-$25 donation is suggested. Thank you.
