DESCRIPTION:According to the American Cancer Society\, women in the U.S. have a 1 in 8 risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime.\n\nTo try and help with those odds\, Supercuts in Falls Church City is holding a "Clip for the Cure" event to raise money for breast cancer research.\n\n"Clip for the Cure" is a nationwide annual fundraiser put on by the Regis Foundation. The Regis Corporation owns several franchised salons such as  Regis Salons\, Vidal Sassoon and Supercuts.\n\n"Clip for the Cure" is a one-day event where 10% of the cost of all haircuts goes to the Regis Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.  \n\n\n\nNationally\, more than 7\,000 salons and 45\,000 stylists will be participating in "Clip for the Cure." Since it started in 1994\, the Regis Foundation has raised more than $11 million for breast cancer research.
