DESCRIPTION:Join us for a night of video games\, pizza\, and movies! Gamers of Fortnite\, Overwatch\, and Rocket League are invited to spend a night out at Code Ninjas Falls Church. All proceeds will go to the team's trip to North Carolina for finals!\n\n\nA Falls Church team of esports athletes will be competing against the top 16 youth Fortnite teams in the US and Canada for the XP League North American Finals championship in Raleigh\, NC\, Aug. 6-8.\n\n\n\n"We're proud of how the kids came together as a team to earn a trip to the national finals\," said Dave Ryan\, local XP League commissioner and owner of Code Ninjas Falls Church and Code Ninjas Alexandria. "They're really excited to test their skills on a national stage."\n\n\n\nThe Falls Church Dragons competed in a regional tournament with 24 other Fortnite teams to qualify for the XP League National Finals\, a first-of-its-kind event for youth ages 8-15. The finals are part of the 15th annual Carolina Games Summit\, an event featuring 30 esports tournaments across all competitive genres\, as well as speakers\, educational sessions\, and technology demonstrations.\n\n\n\nTeams will compete on professional-level gaming computers and technology with in-person and online spectators. The tournament will be broadcast live on Twitch\, Facebook\, YouTube\, and other streaming media.\n\n\n\nThe Falls Church Dragons are one of eight local XP League teams operated by Code Ninjas Falls Church and Code Ninjas Alexandria. The summer season features Fortnite\, Overwatch\, and Rocket League teams.
