DESCRIPTION:FIRSTfriday at Stifel & Capra will be extremely artful this month. The shop will be full with our featured artist and two trunk shows. Join us for all the fun.  The featured artist of the month will be Sabrina Cabada\, a local professional artist and has been painting for over 20 years. Her art is vibrant and innovative with an emphasis on color. Her subjects and women capture insightful moments and wondering glances. Meet Sabrina and all the resident artists and artisans at Stifel & Capra on FIRSTfriday. \n\n	\n\n	Laurie Elyse Trunk Show on FIRSTfriday\n\n	Laurie Elyse is an artist & designer creating wearable\, functional\, & decorative pieces. You can find her work in magazines\, galleries\, restaurants\, studios\, private collections\, boutiques around the world\, on celebrities\, and charity auctions for the Grammy's Foundation & MusiCares\, The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation\, and many more.  She graduated from The School of Visual Arts in New York City. It's there that she began to build furniture and other large scale works.  She has been named a "creative genius" for her one of a kind chandeliers crafted from recycled materials as well as donated broken & used items from musicians of all genres. Once established as an emerging talent she founded Laurie Elyse Design\, LLC only months before being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2007. Despite the challenges of living with the illness Elyse made her runway debut in 2008 and has continued to push the boundaries with her work creating highly sought after pieces of furniture\, clothing and jewelry.\n\n	\n\n	Rough and Tumble Vintage Trunk Show on FIRSTfriday\n\n	Welcome Wendy Wehmeyer of Rough and Tumble Vintage.  One Night Only - Dive into the delicious overdyed vintage frocks\, skirts and jackets and stock up on her ever so popular t-shirts and scarves.  Rough and Tumble Vintage specializes in transforming vintage clothing through thoughtful hand-dyeing and sewing. Rough and Tumble pieces fuse the past with the present into dramatically stunning and unique garments.
