SUMMARY:Furniture Painting 101
DESCRIPTION:Painting 101    You will learn about the makeup of chalk paint and why it's different from acrylic.  You learn all the techniques necessary to create your own beautiful heirloom at home.  I will show you the proper application of paint\, distressing\, and finishing.  These steps will prepare you to take furniture painting to the next level.   You'll take home a hand painted color sheet\, sample boards and confidence to tackle your project.  Lunch is provided for day classes and wine and light snacks are provided for evening classes.  Cost is $135.\n\n\n\nAll Classes are hands on painting classes taught in our bright upstairs classroom at THE STUDIO CENTER\, 920 West Broad Street in Falls Church.  Be sure to wear painting clothes to any class.  Classes are all taught by the owner\, Joni.  There are two specific perks of taking the class (besides having a boatload of fun and learning more that you thought you could.)  You will receive 10% off paint and painting supplies on the day of your class.  You will also be able to stop in THE STUDIO CENTER at any time during regular business hours to practice.  If there are colors you can't decide on\, come on in and use our paint and practice boards and try out your ideas.  There is no expiration date on this perk.
