If we pay attention to these \n\nsensations we will notice that our emotional experience often has a significant impact on how we physically \n\nfeel and vice versa. Meaning in Movement group therapy sessions offer a unique opportunity to capitalize \n\non the connection between physical and emotional experiences to develop new insights not attainable in \n\ntraditional talk therapy that does not incorporate physical experiences. \n\n\n\n\n\nAs part of these groups\, clients will participate in a yoga practice thoughtfully designed to create physical \n\nand emotional opening. The practice will target areas of the body known to carry emotional stress and will \n\nbe followed by a structured opportunity to verbally process and share the experience with others.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Meaning in Movement approach has been developed based on the brain research indicating the \n\nimportance of stimulating both hemispheres of the brain to attain personal insights and heal emotional wounds.\n\nBody based approaches often result in significant\, sustainable\, and long-term change. Additionally\, an even \n\ndeeper level of connection and validation can be reached in Meaning in Movement groups when experiences \n\nare shared with others working through similar vulnerabilities in a guided group. \n\n\n\n\n\nHosted exclusively at Blue Nectar Yoga Studio\, Carolyn Wolfe as the lead facilitator of this group with \n\nJane Bahneman exclusively instructing the yoga portion of this session.\n\n\n\n\n\nParticipants in these groups will work through the series with a cohort of other participants in \n\n6-week increments.
