The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council chambers at 300 Park Avenue\, Falls Church. Candidates will be asked to respond to a variety of questions on issues facing the city\; the event will be moderated by Olga Hernandez\, past president of the League of Women Voters of Virginia.\n\n\n\nSchool Board Candidates Forum\n\nThursday\, October 15 at 7:00 PM - Geo Mason High School Auditorium \n\nVPIS\, the League of Women Voters and the George Mason High School PTSA are hosting a traditional forum with questions and answers with the candidates and an opportunity to meet and greet the candidates in the lobby area before the 7:30 start of the on-stage event.\n\n\n\nElection Day\n\nTuesday\, November 3\n\nVoters will go to the polls on Tuesday\, November 3\, to elect three members of the City Council and three members of the School Board as well as Virginia State Senator\, House of Representative\, Clerk of the Court and Commonwealth's Attorney.\n\n\n\nVPIS and the City Election\n\nVPIS Candidate Information Booklet\nVPIS is a non-partisan organization and does not endorse candidates for public office. We do support the process of democracy and therefore co-sponsor forums and debates. We publish questions and answers that are put to all of the candidates for City Council and School Board positions.
