DESCRIPTION:Park Avenue "Great Streets" Walking Tour\n\n												Monday\, August 1\, 2022 | 7 pm-8:30 pm\n\n												Meet outside the Mary Riley Styles Public Library (120 N. Virginia Ave.) Group will stop at City Hall and Northside Social. \n\n												 \n\n												\n\n												\n\n												Learn about the upcoming Park Avenue "Great Streets" project that will transform Park Avenue from N. Virginia Avenue (Mary Styles Public Library) to N. Washington Street (State Theater) into a "Great Street\," which are lively\, attractive roadways that accommodate all modes of transportation while promoting social interaction\, civic activity\, and/or commerce.\n\n												\n\n												There are many components to this project\, including:\n\n												  Undergrounding utility poles\n\n												  More trees\n\n												  Slowing the speed limit to 20 miles per hour\n\n												  Raised brick intersections with bulbouts to shorten crosswalks\n\n												  Realigning the Maple Avenue intersection\n\n												  Gateway features at each end of the project\n\n												  Improved entrance to Cherry Hill Park\n\n												  Improving the intersections of Little Falls Street and Maple Avenue with W.
