The sale features over 220 lots of rare books and sets on religious commentaries\, religious fathers\, including some volumes on French History.\n\n\n\nThis collection features several opera omnias of church doctors and leaders such as the Saints Augustine\, Leo\, Gregory\, Francis De Sales\, Basil\, and others. Also for auction is a collection of early French Revolutionary pamphlets and publications regarding the plight of the French Catholic Church during 1791-1793\, and the effects of the Civil Constitution on the Clergy.\n\n\n\nAdditionally we are proud to present two incunable volumes: An early publication of Thomas A Kempis's Imitation of Christ from 1492\, and Saint Bernard of Clairvaux's Opus Preclarum Melliflui Doctoris\, from 1500.\n\n\n\nLive Online Bidding\, beginning at 12:00 PM EST the date of the sale\, August 31st\, available via Liveauctioneers & Invaluable.\n\n\n\nAbsentee Bidding ONLY via HiBid\, concluding at 11:40am the date of the sale.\n\n \n\nOPEN PREVIEW:\n\nWednesday\, August 23rd   Friday August 25th 10:30am-5:00pm\n\nMonday\, August 28th   Wednesday\, August 30th 10:30am-5:00pm\n\nNo preview on weekends.\n\nPICK UP will start Tuesday September 5th at 10:30.\n\nPlease contact Andrew@quinnsauction.com to schedule an appointment for pickup.\n\n\n\nIf you do not have an appointment you may not be allowed to pick up your items.
