- 9 a.m. Fun Run (Starting Line on Great Falls Street at Little Falls Street)
- 11 a.m. Ceremony (Veterans Plaza by the Community Center) with Keynote Speaker Captain Shaw H. Cohe, SC, US Navy (RET)
- 2 p.m. Parade Starts (Park Avenue between West Street and Little Falls Street)
40th Annual Parade and Festival
The Recreation and Parks Department is pleased to announce the return of the annual City of Falls Church Memorial Day event. This is the 40th year of the community tradition that will include a Memorial Day Ceremony hosted by the Falls Church Veteran's Council, a 3K Fun Run, civic, merchant, crafter and food vendors, live music, kids entertainment and a parade!
Your Parade Grand Marshal is Chet De Long, chosen for his commitment and service to the Mary Riley Styles Public Library. Read more here!
