Event Details - This class will provide you with valuable insights into why people fall and how to avoid falling. Additionally, the class will delve into the topic of balance and how working on it will help prevent falls, regardless of your age. You don't need any prior experience as we will guide you through exercises that promote balance. Please wear comfortable shoes as we may have you get up and try an exercise or two.
About the Instructor - Barbara Benson is an Exercise Scientist and the Membership Case Manager at BDI. She has a BS in Physical Fitness Management and an MS in Health Promotion Management from Marymount University. She has been working in the fitness industry in management, and private and group training for over 20 years. Barbara specializes in balance training for older adults and training athletes for marathons and triathlons.
