Prepping for a successful birth experience is more important now than ever and many hospital-based
childbirth classes are falling short.
 
The aim of this course is to fully educate moms-to-be and their birth partners towards making best
choices for achieving the birth outcomes they desire. Calm your fears and reduce your anxiety - with
a deeper understanding of the process, you are going to do just fine!
 
In this 4-week course, we will cover:
Your birth plan
Understanding the process of labor
The role of the birth partner in labor and delivery
Best communication techniques
Labor, delivery, and BIRTH day: what to expect + how to optimally prepare
Laboring positions + comfort techniques
Understanding optional medical interventions + the pros/cons of each
The early postpartum time period + what to expect
(This course does not cover breastfeeding.)
Credible articles, resources, and references will be abundantly provided, as well as lists of
 local allied health professionals to assist you on your journey.
 
Designed for moms-to-be and their chosen adult birth partner (spouse, friend, family member, partner),
