From dance-inducing Old Time rhythms and foot stomping Irish melodies to hard-driving bluegrass, Baltimore-based Charm City Junction creates a fresh musical buffet that keeps their avid listeners wondering what delicious morsel they'll serve up next. The band is comprised of four of the most talented and promising acoustic roots musicians in the country with Patrick McAvine on fiddle, Brad Kolodner on clawhammer banjo, Sean McComiskey on button accordion and Alex Lacquement on upright bass. Doors open at 6pm and showtime is at 7pm. The series at the park's Visitor Center is sponsored by the Friends of Frying Pan Park, Vienna Hardwoods and Eastman Guitars and Mandolins in cooperation with the Fairfax County Park Authority. Food and drinks, including beer and wine are available for purchase. Tickets: $18 in advance, $20 at door.
