Blue Grass- Patent Pending

Description

For over thirty years, Patent Pending has been performing and recording bluegrass music. The bands tight harmonies and energetic picking were honed through the early years in the Washington, DC music scene, where they held weekly gigs at some of the area's top bluegrass venues. During the 1980s, Patent Pending recorded four albums and played extensively. Doors open at 6pm, concert starts at 7pm. The series at the park's Visitor Center is sponsored by the Friends of Frying Pan Park, Eastman Guitars and Mandolins and Vienna hardwoods in cooperation with the Fairfax County Park Authority. Food and drinks available for purchase. Tickets are $18 in advance, $20 at the door.
