Join us at The Kensington Falls Church for an enlightening discussion on Breakthroughs in Parkinson’s Treatment with Dr. Drew Falconer, Medical Director for the Inova Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center. Dr. Falconer will share the latest advancements in Parkinson’s care, including insights into Vyalev, a newly approved treatment designed to offer a more continuous and steady administration of Levodopa, aiming to improve overall quality of life for individuals living with Parkinson’s.
Meet the Expert
Dr. Drew Falconer is board certified in neurology and is a fellowship-trained movement disorders specialist. He is the Director of the Inova Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center and specializes in advanced care of patients with Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, dystonia, Huntington’s disease, tic disorders and other movement disorders. He is uniquely qualified in the areas of deep brain stimulation (DBS) and botulinum toxin injections. Dr. Falconer speaks nationally on various topics in Movement Disorders and is a respected national educator in Parkinson’s Disease and DBS. Dr. Falconer serves as Associate Professor of Neurology at the UVA School of Medicine Inova Campus. He is a member of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society and serves on the medical advisory board for the Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area (PFNCA).
