Description
Volunteers of America Chesapeake is excited to announce we are celebrating 20 years at Bailey’s Crossroads Community Shelter. WE continue to work to end Homelessness in Fairfax County, but we need YOUR help!
Each year BCCS promotes its mission of helping hundreds of homeless individuals in Fairfax County looking for support and shelter. Our purpose is to prevent and end homelessness through permanent housing.
BCCS provides the community with several important services. We operate a 50 bed shelter, a drop in center, a Safe Haven Program, a Hypothermia Prevention Program, Community Case Management and outreach as well as a 14 bed Supportive Housing Program. These programs help to support many individuals in our community and provide them with the skills needed to become independent, productive citizens. We are making progress, however we need your help. These programs need additional funding supports to remain active and successful. We are asking that you help us help those most in need, through our aggressive goal to raise $5,000 by September 15th. These donations are tax-deductible, and will be used to support all programs of BCCS to help our Fairfax County residents end homelessness.
