CHAMBER EVENT: Annual Nonprofit Forum Luncheon

Join us for our Annual Nonprofit Forum.  Many of our nonprofit members will be represented and are excited to have the opportunity to share their mission, and let you know how you and your business can support them.  Lunch will be catered.

There will be an opportunity to speak with representatives from each nonprofit before the luncheon begins.  In addition, there will be a very brief self-intro opportunity, with name and business only, to allow time for our speaker, Matt Gayer, executive director of Spur Local, previously known as the Catalogue for Philanthropy.

Nonprofit Trends and the Role of Nonprofit-Business Partnerships

Matt Gayer of Spur Local will join us to discuss current trends in the local and national nonprofit sector, including what is happening with giving, staffing, and focus areas of local nonprofits. From these trends, a clear opportunity for small businesses and small nonprofits is evident. Matt will spend some time highlighting some different ways these two community groups can work together, and how both can benefit from focusing on local partnerships.
