March is National Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month!
March is “Inclusion of People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month”, and its goal is to educate the public that people with developmental disabilities can be vital and vibrant members of their community. The Arc of Northern Virginia represents 16,000 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families seeking full access to education, housing, employment, and recreational activities.
On Thursday, March 19, our wonderful friends at Argia’s will donate 15% of total food and beverage sales all day long. So all of your meal, your alcohol—even take out—helps The Arc of Northern Virginia. No flyer needed. Just enjoy your meal AND the fact that you are making an important difference.
