Week-long Summer Sessions (ages 7-12)
Summer sessions at FCArts Academy are extra fun as the extra time allows us to dig extra deeply into our projects. These sessions, offered as a week-long (Mon-Fri) experience, are especially geared to the 7-12 year-old artist. We work collaboratively and do a lot of problem solving, so mixed-age works great in this setting. You may choose half or full day. Sign up with a friend or come meet a new one!

Art Academy BELIEVES...
All children are creative, but successful art production requires both exposure to different mediums and lots of practice. Musical performers cannot just sit down and expect to play a complicated song without learning to read music or gaining an understanding of basic rhythms; similarly, children need to understand the basic elements of visual art in order to produce truly satisfying artwork. Students learn to trust their own instincts as they make artistic choices in an encouraging, upbeat environment.
