Description
Come to FIRSTfriday of Falls Church and join in on the fun with dinning specials and retail discounts. This month highlights include Call It the Blues exhibit showcasing the works of various area artists and artist Linda Vroegindewey. ArtALot with Cruise-In Friday, musical performance by Tom Nichols and Holly Montgomery with special guest Helen Hausmann, and art exhibits featuring various painters, jewelers, businesses, and other artists. More music by the Art Daniels Band, auction preview, free ice cream, ARTful event, tastings, yoga, dance moves, and yes more. Irish Balladeer at Ireland's Four Provinces and even more musical performances at Dogwood Tavern, and Clare and Don's Beach Shack.

- Art exhibit titled Call It the Blues, as part of the Tinner Hill Blues Festival, the Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation is hosting this juried all-media exhibition focusing on the meaning of the “blues” from an artist’s or visual perspective. Works of art explore the nature of blues music, poetry, literature, or history; interpreting or reflecting the emotions and events inspiring or evoked by the “blues”; focus on blues performers; or the work exploring the “hue of blue”. Artists talk at 7:10.
- Decorative art demonstration by The Academy of Wall Artistry, Victoria Bingham at 7:20.
- FREE ice cream provided by Lazy Sundae.
