Feeling depleted, overstimulated, or overheated? Chandra Namaskar, or Moon Salutation, is a soothing, quieting sequence that cultivates introspection, softness and cooling. Although we will flow on the breath, you won't see any Sun Salutations or other heat-building poses that we practice in most vinyasa classes. Instead, we will explore several variations of moon salutations to prepare the body for longer holds focused on forward bends, twists, and hip-opening poses. Held in a candle-lit studio, and complete with aromatherapy and a guided meditation, this is a practice you don't want to miss!
