Join us for a day of free family fun, with free workshops, demonstrations and more, including a free performance of Tales from Peru.
10:00 - 12:00 Learning Theater Workshop Observation
Observe our first Learning Theater Workshop for the Little Prince. See our young actors at work with the directors and experience a unique behind the scenes look at the Creative Cauldron process!
12:15 - 1:00 Learning Theater Studio Observation
Sit in on our newest workshop, the Learning Theater Studio. Watch our budding actors learn improvisational exercises and the tools of the trade!
1:00 - 2:00 Special Concert
Juan Cayrampoma will perform a special concert of captivating music performed on a myriad of traditional Andean instruments. He will teach us about these beautiful instruments and the sounds they make.
2:00 - 3:00 "Tales from Peru"
Our performing artists join forces with Juan Cayrampoma in bringing to life ancient folk tales from the Andes with large scale puppets, choreography and music.
3:00 - 4:00 Puppet-Making Demonstration w/ Margie Jervis
Scenic Artist Margie Jervis will demonstrate how she makes puppets like the majestic Peruvian birds that are used in the performance of "Tales from Peru."
