Quinn’s Auction Galleries is pleased to present an auction of rare books, prints and autographs from the 16th-20th century. The sale features over 220 lots of with several Presidential autographs and signatures, early printings, illustrated books as well as volumes on American exploration.
This auction features the first psychological sketch on childhood development, authored by Charles Darwin in 1877. Also for auction is a collection of early French Revolutionary pamphlets and publications regarding the plight of the French Catholic Church during 1791-1793, and the effects of the Civil Constitution on the Clergy.
Additionally we are proud to offer several volumes on exploration including a complete set of the Pacific Railroad survey and a complete early run of Bureau of American Ethnology Annual Reports. Also in this auction we have a copy of the first major work on Cryptanalysis by Friedman and the White House copy of The Plan of Chicago.
