SallyWorld Shadow Boxes Trunk Show at Stifel & Capra

Sally Slifkin has been a lover of miniatures, craft and painting all of her life. Recently she has begun to combine miniature figures with craft materials and original paintings into shadow boxes of varied sizes and shapes. These boxes allow her to create a miniature story contained inside.  Her acrylic paintings reflect her love of landscape and color.  Most are interpretations from photos that she has taken of the scenery of her native Eastern Pennsylvania as well as travels to England and Ireland.  In combining her artistic interests, the common thread would be creating happy, colorful worlds in shadow boxes and on canvas.
