What is the Stratford University Career Fair?
§ Usually one day events set up to connect local and national employers with potential employees
§ Recruiters and Decision Makers from the organization act as representatives and are stationed at tables
What are the benefits?
Think of a career fair as one-stop shopping. It provides the opportunity to talk to numerous employers at one time and place. Some direct benefits of attending a career fair include:
§ An efficient and economical way to make contacts (there is no cost admission is FREE!)
§ The opportunity to learn more about specific industries, careers, and organizations
§ A chance to talk to a company representative instead of submitting a resume online or an online application
§ Making a contact within an organization
What can I expect?
