Once just the domain of imaginative stories, artificial intelligence is a technology greatly influencing how we work, the products we buy, and how our society flourishes. In this talk Dr. Kendall Giles will discuss what is meant when we say "AI" and present examples of not only ways AI can help us, but also challenges with AI that we should think carefully about as we rush to build super robots and intelligent devices.
This series is offered by the Virginia Tech Graduate School at the Northern Virginia Center in Falls Church. Dr. Kendall Giles is an Assistant Professor in Virginia Tech's Electrical and Computer Engineering Program.
