On Saturday, March 26, the Washington Sinfonietta will perform Jean Sibelius’ serene Andante Festivo and Franz Schubert’s spirited Symphony No. 2 in B-flat Major. The orchestra will also be joined by world-class soloist, recording artist, and University of Maryland Professor Eric Kutz for a performance of Camille Saint-Saëns’ ever-popular Cello Concerto No. 1.
