2026 Business Awards Gala Nominations
The Greater Falls Church Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations through Monday, February 23 at 5:00 pm. Individuals may nominate chamber businesses for more than one award or self-nominate. An ad hoc committee will make award selections which will be announced at the event on Thursday, March 19 at The State Theatre.

Awards criteria:
Small Business of the Year
The Small Business of the Year Award recognizes a business which best embodies the values of the Greater Falls Church Chamber, operates with 10 or less employees and has been in business for more than 4 years. The business must have made a positive impact within their trade or industry, follow best business practices, demonstrate integrity, growth, customer service and engagement in the community through service, volunteerism, investment, or civic engagement.
Large Business of the Year
The Large Business of the Year Award recognizes a business which best embodies the values of the Greater Falls Church Chamber, operates with 11 or more employees and has been in business for more than 4 years. The business must have made a positive impact within their trade or industry, follow best business practices, demonstrate integrity, growth, customer service and engagement in the community through service, volunteerism, investment, or civic engagement.
Nonprofit of the Year
The Nonprofit of the Year Award recognizes and organization that has made outstanding contributions to the community. The organization must follow best practices for nonprofits and be an active 501 (c) 3 in the Greater Falls Church area. Attributes include growth, innovation, collaborative efforts, creating synergy and mutual success among partner organizations, increased contributions, strong volunteer support, civic engagement, and positively impact the community.
Company Culture Excellence Award
The Company Culture Excellence Award recognizes a business that values leadership, best practices, and employees through an exceedingly positive corporate culture. This may be evident in any of the following: healthy work-life balance, green and innovative practice, diversity and inclusion, opportunities for employee training and development, and community engagement.
Pillar of the Community Award
This annual award was established in 1966 to recognize Chamber members who are dedicated to family, community, business, or profession and have made a distinctive contribution to the enrichment of life within the greater Falls Church area.
