City Council Candidates Forum
Thursday, October 1 at 7:30 PM - City Chamber at City Hall
VPIS and the League of Women Voters of Falls will co-sponsor a forum featuring the candidates seeking election this year to three seats on the Falls Church City Council. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council chambers at 300 Park Avenue, Falls Church. Candidates will be asked to respond to a variety of questions on issues facing the city; the event will be moderated by Olga Hernandez, past president of the League of Women Voters of Virginia.
School Board Candidates Forum
Thursday, October 15 at 7:00 PM - Geo Mason High School Auditorium
VPIS, the League of Women Voters and the George Mason High School PTSA are hosting a traditional forum with questions and answers with the candidates and an opportunity to meet and greet the candidates in the lobby area before the 7:30 start of the on-stage event.
Election Day
Tuesday, November 3
Voters will go to the polls on Tuesday, November 3, to elect three members of the City Council and three members of the School Board as well as Virginia State Senator, House of Representative, Clerk of the Court and Commonwealth’s Attorney.
