VIRGINIA DREAM FC IS LIVING THE DREAM…AGAIN! 

Virginia Dream FC advanced to the second round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup with a 2-1 victory over professional team, Carolina Core FC. For the second year in a  row, The Dream defeated a professional team to advance in the tournament. After falling behind in the 52nd minute, Dream winger, Diarra Zoumana, scored in the 58th minute to tie the match at 1-1. Mike Akinkoye, the team’s mid-fielder added another goal in the 78th minute to earn Virginia Dream FC a place in the second round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
